A designer tie will give you an edge that the rest of your coworkers will not. Despite what others try and tell you, much of what you achieve in life is certainly attributed to how well you dress and how sharply you look. Unfortunately for most of us, we are not all models, which means we have to compensate with snazzy dress and classy looks. For men, this equates to wearing a well tailored suit with one of many different types of dress shirts underneath. It also means that if you want to look your best, you will have to match your suit with a designer tie from one of hundreds of different fashion dealers. Keep in mind that such extravagant accessories do not necessarily come cheap, but the striking new look they will give you will certainly be worth it.

No matter what type of colors are your favorites, chances are that there will be a designer tie to go with them. From solid colors to stripes to a variety of intriguing patterns, a designer tie is available in tons of different colors and patterns. Furthermore, just because you may prefer a thin tie over a wide tie does not mean that you may be without a tie, as more and more well known fashion designers get into the tie game, more and more different sizes of tie are being manufactured.

Now, seeing as how a designer tie will cost you a pretty penny, you may want to save your hard earned money and spend it on something more useful. This is totally possible given the great number of knockoff ties on the market today. Instead of spending one or two hundred dollars on one tie from a famous manufacturer, choose to buy several ties from lesser known or more cheaply retailing fashion designers instead. Alternatively, you can pick up knock off ties which come in roughly the same patterns and styles as their more expensive counterparts for less than half of the price. However, certain Italian ties cannot necessarily be replicated, as the most expensive ties are completely hand made
